Most of us don't give a #### between a manual or automatic.

As I get older, my attitude has changed about auto's...with all the traffic and my old knees...sometimes it would be good not to have to use the clutch when in bumper-to-bumper traffic.

Knucklehead, tucker and 4mer trucker Thank this.

Drove one for Schneider for six month. It's not noticeably different unless you have to go up a slight grade to back in the dock and then it's like trying to crack an egg with your foot without spilling any yolk.

To Each There Own..... What my experience with an Auto was, it felt like I was less alert, very long day due to not being engaged (Just holding the wheel) and getting up to speed was slower in an already slow trk, whether that be turning thru an intersection or hill climbing. Maybe this is the company's attempt to appeal to the Millennial generation and thin the herd of costlier top pay veterans that are eating up unnecessary company profits. MY 2 CENTS !

I guess I shouldn't have turned down the load from Wheat Ridge to Milwaukee, but it was so tight on my 70, I figured at 59 mph and would have had around an hour to spare, and that's without leaving any time to get to a truck stop after I was empty.

So I end up forced dispatched on Walmart freight..

Jesus Christ. A 2 stop load to Colardo Springs, CO and back to Cheyenne.
And with the Denver traffic to boot,
On my way north the southbound side was all backed up and that was around the 265 mile marker.
I don't see this going well,
At least I'm due home, I extended my time out, but after this bs, I changed it back to the 10th.

What's the deal with the E-470 toll road in Denver? Last time I came through I was so tight on time I had to take it. Didn't see any EZToll readers, any toll stations, and never got any crap from Lincoln.
