It's actually a "fine" place to post it; we are talking about tanks, one way or another. Two reasons I see this to be the case: 1.) you have a DM that has faith in you and runs you hard; 2.) this other person may have let them down a time or 10, and his DM may be skeptical to run HIM hard.

(or a combination of the two!~!) :) Just MHO.

ps: i just saw that @Bud A. beat me to it. My brain is slow today; saw a REALLY bad accident on way home this a.m.; I'm still shook up. Three dead in serious crash between car, semi

I know that dude! For real! Only it was Saddam Hussein he had in his sights, back in Gulf War I, and he was a dentist so he actually *knew* the whole back story on the fluoride plot!

What was funniest is that he was trained both as a dentist and as a sniper by the U.S. Army. I guess they needed someone with that specific combination of skills.

Now, have you guys met this one guy who grew up on the south side of Chicago? He studied martial arts with the Chinese master who lived there and took an interest in the kids who kept getting in trouble with the law. The master taught them a special kind of kung ##, and the last part of the training involved delivering only death blows when confronted with an unavoidable fight. The guy literally can't hit you without killing you, which is why he avoids fights because he doesn't want that on his conscience. He pulls a flatbed for Prime now.

Heading back to Shreveport for another snot load. This vampire run last night wiped me out. A couple of years ago, I wouldn't have noticed. Today? I arrived with 11 min on my 14 because my 40 minute nap turned into 2 hours and 40 minutes.. Took 2 hours to unload. Just kept it on line 4 including driving 2 miles to the truckstop.

Yea this is very true, he could be one of the guys I hear them talking about when I'm sometimes go into the office in coraopolis, I often hear them saying they got to bring a driver in to have a talk with them because they are late for unload times and when they look back at logs trying to see what the problem is I've heard them say that the driver was off duty for 14 hours at a flying j.. I'm off duty exactly 10 hours, 45 mins before 10 hits I'm already brushing teeth getting coffee. Over a year I've never been late even once so it probably does play a part in them running me super hard getting the super long runs. I look at it like this if I'm gonna be away from home working I want to make every dime I can.. I don't mind the 16 hour days one after the other aslong as pay reflects it

I have stopped at a rest area for my 30mins once and woke up 2 hours later. I was so mad at myself but it was ok because I was way ahead of schedule

Yea your right, the driver so far hasn't replied back to me when I started trying to figure out what the problem is... My guess is now that he knows what the problem is most likely. It's sitting in his front seat holding the steering wheel.

Was time to clean up a few of my old muzzle loaders... that Henry 22 magnum pump I actually got for free. The owner of Henry Rifles emailed me one day after I did a write up on their Facebook page about their guns. He said I had my pick of any gun they made for free. I didn't take him serious and said I would like to have the pump, next thing he asked was which gun dealer did I want him to send it to. Wish I had chosen a more expensive one :). My write up is still on their Facebook
