They don't give us those, why do you guys have them?

 

Safety is the big thing at the Springfield DC. all warehouse equipment is equipped with sensors. The second you barely bump into something it shuts down and locks out and youre automatically written up and sent in for a drug test

 

My manager ####s a brick anytime we refuel off-site. So no rewards for me lol

 

Consider yourself lucky. Our sales service guys have one off the bulkhead for cooler. Chains with freezer have them all the way down under cooler. GR did a "study" that cooler items were freezing on the floor so it's required so produce items don't freeze... But if you don't have a freezer you don't get the pallets.

 

They will put a wood pallet off the bulk head for us as well, but not the red pallets. I like that "study".

 

I've got my own Comdata Card. Worked out well in Aberdeen when our truck was empty on fuel and out of oil and the Penske yard was closed. I was able to get oil with my company credit card and fuel for the truck with the Commdata Card. The guy I was with was like oh my this totally saves the day.

Those Aberdeen boys needed some help and needed to be pointed in the right direction.

 

Yeah you're supposed to be able to buy anything you need with it. I've only had to use mine twice for fuel and anti gel

 

But we do have several routes that you have to fuel up or you're not gonna make it home

 

Its been 6 months since i left willow but they still have wendys popeyes & arbys as their main accounts. About a year and a half ago they got 5 guys and checkers. No more subway or boston market. Checkers was the absolute worst, especially the Baltimore run i used to do.
