The way they wired the roof top AC is with a 240V plug. Its only a 13500 BTU.. The rest of my stuff like my TV/Computer run on a muilt strip. When i was at the yard i use to run my Computer and AC unit off the Same power strip i would love to beable to do that again lol.

Take a picture of the plug where the prongs are and post it.

Pete, on the inside of the truck where the connector is you could wire in a 110V circuit and run it to a junction box with outlets. A 230/240V circuit is two 110V circuits: two hot wires usually red and black, a common wire always white and a ground always green. You would connect the 110V hot wire to one leg of the 240V hot wires, common/white to common and ground/green to ground. Use the same yellow cable except get the three wire and solder ring terminals at the outlet end. You could add as many junction boxes with outlets as you need. Make sure all connections are in junction boxes and tape the twist connectors.

That is not a 220 plug. It is a recreational plug used on campers. They make an adapter for that. You can get them a walmart less that 10.00.

I don't think it's actually 220 , on my generator at home I used for racing and other generators I have owned for work that is a 30 amp 110 v outlet that uses the twist lock connector. It's for extra amperage not 220 service in most cases the standard 3 prong are usually 15 amp , the 30 amp lets you run heavier loads like AC units.

I was thinking that as well but the generator end is definitely 240V although its possible one of the hot legs isn't connected. Also the 110V twist locks I used working construction were much smaller.
