I asked the shop about the service intervals for my truck since there wasn't a decal in it when I moved in. Turns out it was due for an oil change, filter changes, apu service, and dpf. Anyhow, I luckily had time to kill and Fargo got it in Friday afternoon and knocked out everything except the dpf.
Glad to be back on the road. Got loaded 2 hours early at Simplot yesterday, now on my way to Nampa ID for Tuesday am.ncmickey, Zata40, mattbh23 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Anyone know what the start/stop temp range is on the Carrier unit? This one is making me a lil nervous. Let's the box temp get up to 35/36 and unit cuts on and then cools it back down to 21/22. Set point is at 26.
Finfn1372 Thanks this. -
That should be able to be adjusted in the settings......somewhere. May have to consult your shop or the reefer mfg. (dealer)

Magnum, like many companies, sets their units up so that ranges and cycles (start/stop or continuous) are automatic based on the temp or the product when the driver starts it and adjusts the set point. Only the shop can alter the auto programming.

Within that range you're fine, product inside the box will still be within the correct temp range.
There are times the BOL requests a temp outside what the shop allows, for instance I once had a request to maintain - 25 and needed to work with the shop to do so. For your load I wouldn't give it a second thought so long as you have a green light.
