ah OK. Place in Reno loads like that but they are the big fiber optic rolls. You have to use like 16 chains and then tarp it. It stunk.

The focus needs to be on the HOS, putting back the flexibility we had running 10 drive/8 off.

The fmcsa is getting drivers into a study now to research different splits.

It seems the focus though is on ELD, you see Facebook pages , web forums all over the net , where drivers say the eld stops them from this and stops them from that, most of the statements indicate they in fact do change there logs around . Admitting they falsify their logs.

I also freely admit , I did that also, I adjusted things.

I can also say my transition to elogs June 18,2016 went surprisingly well. It helps I don't try for a ton of miles.

But it's clear to me now, the true problem isn't elog, it's the inflexibility of the hours of service.

I think the fight against eld should be focused on flexibility in the hospital.

I also don't think it's about money, back many moons ago scalehouses were dang near open 24/7 ,365 days a year.

There seems to be far better chance of changing hos than eliminating the elog mandate.

FYI. The Sears across the river from Mercer at the Green Tree Mall is going out of business. Starting August 1st everything will go on clearance including Tools. The guy told me October doors will be closed for good...

Unfortunately since kmart bought sears craftsman has become a garbage quality tool. Really sucks. Used to be a cheaper alternative to snap on but anymore it might as well be that junk pittsburgh brand they sell at harbor freight.

For a cheaper but good quality tool look into snapons industrial line. The only difference is instead of shiny chrome its a dull matte finish.

You probably won't find a good one for that kind of money, used maybe but not new. Battery operated probably 275 to 350, corded 225 to 300. Just depends on what you want, probably be hard pressed to buy one at HF for 150.
