Back in my construction days, about 20 years ago, I once stood on the hood of a drywall delivery truck to weld a piece of metal track to a beam.

I don't know there's probably been people blocking our docks. I don't have to many docks though, usually be inconvenienced is all part of the fun.

So this start-up beverage company had people repeatedly parking in the dock area. They went and bought NO PARKING LOADING ZONE signs.

I roll up, there's an Audi parked right in front of the dock. I go find one of the guys and ask "Who the heck parked in the dang dock?"

    "The owners."

He had to restrain me from beating my head against the wall...

I did that in Nevada, trying to get a set of 40' side dumps out of the yard. BAM....a nice Mercedes is blocking me. Jump out a the truck, ran past the car into dispatch & yelled " who's ###### Mercedes is that?
Owners wife. "Oh" I see (mouth really small). Went back to truck, mind screaming OF ALL PEOPLE! !!!

    Mike2633 and kimbosa Thank this.

We had one customer that shared her lot with someone and let him park his food truck there. Rather than parking to the side, he parked in the middle of an alley that was used to offload with a forklift.

Lady lost her #### when I told her I could not offload her freight until the truck was moved. She begged and pleaded cause she needed that piece of freight that day. Foodtruck owner was an hour away and I had to run.

She got her freight the next day... With a $100 redelivery charge.

It's funny when the car parked there is already messed up somehow. It's like they are hoping someone will finish the job. o_O

I was running around our yard on a fork, day cab driver walked out to his truck and started paperwork (truck idling) a courier straight truck parks at the next dock, gets out, and i #### you not, goes UNDER the day cabs trailer to short cut to our door. I beeped at him, he kept going, so i hollered at him, HEY! he looked over, i said, you do that again and you and your company will be banned from here! He said, why? I said you NEVER cut under a trailer. And you definitely wont do it in our yard. He sheepishly walked in. Day cab driver full on thanked me for laying into him.

Seriously, a running truck, and you cant walk the extra 50'?!
