Difficulty getting a company to hire me with a non commercial vehicle accident on my MRV.

I really appreciate your bluntness, it's changed my perspective on the entire matter. I'm absolutely not picky at all of who will hire me, I would be happy with absolutely anyone at this point. I've only got my CLP at the moment, so I can only look into companies that do the CDL training. But, I am also working with the WIOA office, as they may be able to send me to a private driving school to get my CDL (them covering the cost) as well as getting an intent to hire letter from a trucking company. The only wrench in the cogs here is getting my DL and CLP transferred from MO to KY, my home state.

They've given me another med card form to take to a doctor to do the physical again, and the form is identical in every way to the one I already have, except where is says Missouri, it says Kentucky instead. I feel like I should be able to transfer it with my current med card, a the lady that told me this and gave me the form was wrong. I've gotta wait for the long form to be mailed back to me though before I can find out for sure. If push comes to shove, I may just let the CLP go, and get my DL transferred, as that's all the WIOA office is currently waiting for to get the process going.

 

Thanks for the support and the advice! As far as other companies go, I am being 100% straightforward and honest with them, I've never liked to be dishonest and never have been able to lie, simply because I feel bad about it when I do. This backfiring in my face seems to me a harsh reminder that honestly is always the best policy. As for not being in denial of fault for that accident, you guys have made a really good point, and I'm definitely going to keep this in mind. I absolutely have learned from the ordeal, and thus take extra, sometimes unnessisary precautions in ensuring that I always have ample stopping room in front of me, and it's also made me think twice before assuming a vehicles lights function the way they're supposed to.
