Back to back loads for me... Friday load was cancelled after sitting a few hours waiting and now today been sitting almost 7 hours waiting to get loaded... When it rains it pores I guess.....

 

Let me ask, the Agent here gets paid only when loads they post are booked by drivers correct?

 

i think its when they get moved yes.

 

I thought I read on here before that "CBD" under the load info means that it's a brokered load not a direct customer that's why you gotta call... Am I right or wrong? Thanks

 

It's not necessarily a brokered load. CBD means call before dispatch. It could be a broker load, a bid load, from a load list, or in some cases a good load but they just want you to call!

 

Ya, I knew the call before dispatch part, just wasn't sure on everything else you stated. Thanks for the clarification.

 

And this why I said call when it occured, you would have discovered this at that point,. Was this a CHI load? They have several where it states this in the comments.

Not saying you did something wrong, but it's a good thing to call when it says it pays by weight

Yes it would have a big difference. He stated the load said it paid by weight,. When they took a bundle off dropping the weight from 46,000 to 40,000 a phone call at that point would have let him know the pay would be less and he could have either been good or unloaded it all.

But when loads state they pay by weight , it's important to call. Especially if it's CHI

 

Rarely are loads listed in even numbers totally accurate, but usually are when it's 46205
