    Yes they get a percentage just like us. But if no mercer truck books it they can then try to broker out and get the exact same percentage.

    Took just shy of 10 hours for me to get loaded but the customer didnt mind signing the bills under where I wrote the detention hours, it happens. Was surprised though I loaded at this same place ( Winchester, Kentucky ) last week and was in and out...

    LMFAO, I never said they were! I simply said, that you can't change the outcome with a phone call once you're there, and had the load been posted correctly he wouldn't be there! I don't give a rats @@@ who's fault it is that it was posted that way, I just know it wasn't his fault!

    No one said it was his fault, didn't say you could change the outcome,. I said there was two points in time a phone call should have been made, and I also agree in a perfect world it would have been great to know in advance, but it's not unheard of for situations like this to occur. And at that point there was two options left . Saying calls should have been made is in no way saying it was his fault.

    You think it possible others reading this might call if this happens to them.

    Yes , it would be great if situations like this didn't occur, but reality is that they do , the difference occurs in how they are dealt with.

    Yes that would be ideal, for sure . I never said it wouldn't be. I simply said at that point and after 7000 was removed calls would have at least alerted him to a lessening if pay, instead of after.

    Where did i say that it wouldn't??? I stated at that point after arrival, there were two options left haul it at lesser weight or have them unload it.

    That's the facts, the consequences of either I didn't discuss.

    I was discussing more that he would have known it would affect pay if calls were made.

    Would you have made any calls if in that situation?

    I didn't think I was going to have all this drama with the load. The last thing I'm going to do is have them take the load off with a line of trucks waiting to be loaded on a Friday afternoon then have to look for another load. Give me the proper information and all will be good.

    I know you didn't think that about the load. I understand the proper weight would have been a huge difference. But what I said was it came down to choices, haul it or have them take it off.

    Didn't say they were optimal choices, but that two were two left at that point.

    I would have at that point hauled it also after being that deep into it.

    But now after the fact , I bet if this occurs you will be on the phone at least.
    But was this a CHI load ? I learned to document and asked many many questions, when I do chance hauling one of theirs.

    Wait til ya do a crane load for em, lol
