Mars in Lebanon
They must be desperate for trailers. When I picked this lease trailer last night, I checked it out for damage cleanliness and safe functionality...but I didn't notice this problem until it was loaded

Yes L & G's, those are springs...a spring ride trailer. Maybe Xtra was out of air-ride

When I picked this lease trailer up last night, I told dispatch what number, and that it was a lease trailer. (And it was in the midst of a conversation, so I know they read it). They never said that I couldn't use it. It was stickered with our lease trailer sticker, and sitting in the middle section at 840 along with all the other trailers, and no red tag or gladhand lock. After I live loaded this a.m., my DM calls and informs me that we aren't suppose to use those...and I immediately asked why night shift didn't tell me so I could hunt a different one...he said he would check and let me know. I got off at the Peelot -Lebanon exit and was just backing into a spot and he tells me that it's ok as long as there is a company sticker on the trailer...I feel like the receiver of one of those fake "psyche" handshakes they use to do in the 80's.
Update...after all this, they rescheduled the delivery for next week...needless to say, my DM knows that this has only added fuel to the fire...I told him to change my hometime to ASAP and get me home so I can clean out the nonessential stuff out of my truck and get my work history, I have to find something less dysfunctional before I say or do something that keeps me from getting another job.Last edited: Aug 11, 2017

Woke up this morning in Breezewood PA to temps in the 50's. These are most definitely NOT the dog days of summer.

He's ok. His best attribute is that he leaves me alone and let's me take as much hometime as I want without griping...
Truth is i can really manage myself and I just tell him what needs to be done and he complies
