From what I hear at FCC, they don't play mickey mouse games and keep you BUSY. The latest was starting drivers at 41cpm with up to 4-cent quarterly safety bonus. Running West on a regular is there selling point. I imagine that they would have folks lined up beating down the door to get hired if they upped there starting base pay to 47cpm.

Webber will keep me busy out west. They don't have APUs on most of their trucks, tho. But I've decided it's worth more to me to not play rate games and waiting games, such as I'd get by going with a low-paying reefer outfit. I've never enjoyed a job as much as running with them. It's only logical that I go back.

I couldn't do the variable cpm...dependent on how many miles I ran in a certain period..or based on safety... I like knowing my cpm stays the same

Dna Mach, ncmickey and carramrod32 Thank this.

The shaffer had a spill or something,an emergency hazmat crew had to show up.I was the entertainment at the same truck stop the next day, when they towed me(electrical issue),the guy couldnt unlock the differential so he took off the axles,it took 3 hours.Ray was the one to terminate an upstanding driver like me twice,so i think he wasnt doing a good job...lol
