Running with JCT, Part Deux

Ha....I just got off cheap on parking at the Petro. Went into the restaurant and ordered a small $6 meal. The front registers were down for midnight count. So, the waitress goes to the back register and prints me a reciept. I look at after I got back to the truck and she gave me a reciept for a $30 ticket. Guess, I'm good on spending anymore money.

 

Just won a grand in the holiday raffle.

 

Apparently someone dropped a trailer in Carthage MS low on fuel at the Tyson. I walked past it and the light was on that it was having issues, tried to re-start it, checked gauge, looked empty wouldent restart, alerted Tyson because it was full of product and at 46 set 26.

Wonder who is truly at fault on that one, the driver for slacking on fueling, or the gate who didn't check and just asks the driver how much is in there.....

Guess it depends on how long it's been sitting there but that's a lazy driver problem right there.

 

Hasent been sitting there that long, it wasent in that spot when I got here last night. And it hasent been terribly hot so the reefer hasent been stressed that hard.

Its one of those gauges that has the thing in the middle, so you cant really see the dial. Not really an excuse though.

What were the tickets called for the raffle, I don't think I got the message.

 

This so stupid. Shouldn't have to wait 12+ hours for a #### load. Been parked here since last night and in the area for ovet a day and still no load. If they don't have loads coming out of the area then stop sending trucks into the #### area.

Begininning of the week is horrible for Southern California for getting loads. My DM has shown me the numbers before usually they are truck heavy by the high doubles, sometimes hundreds.

 

So, they know it's a pattern and yet refuse to take action to change the pattern. And continue with the attitude of we'll just let them set for a day. If I'm here tomorrow, I will be demanding layover. This kind of crap makes me wish I could just plan my own loads. I wouldn't be sitting here that's for sure.

Also, I've never had to wait this long for a load out of southern California. I usually have a preplan.before getting here or very early the next day.
