That's actually not a bad office to deal with. I'm upfront about what i think of the rates on the counter tops, but speak with common courtesy. She knows its not a good rate but all the customer is willing to pay.
If you give her a few days heads up you can get solid rates on better freight out of there. And she is one of the agents that's loves putting together ltl runs. Has gotten me way north of 2 bucks a mile all the way to Florida with those partials. And that was back when 2 bucks was doing good. Today i wouldn't be surprised to get 3+ to get home from there.

They called an offered me a "hot" load out of Madison, SD and wanted to know what I needed... I named it they called back with the customers counter which IMO for someone needed something moved they don't appear to be to desperate but it works... Only 10k so it's nice and light...
