There is a reason they call them goodlucks.
Spread axles are rough on tires not specifically engineered for them. If they don't warranty the tire, try to get continental hsr2. Failing that, Bridgestone 196 isn't to terribly bad.

As for a lift axle..i got the whole kit for that Hendrickson in my garage. Havent out it on cause with this new truck I'm already to fn heavy. You ate looking at about 1200 bucks if you pick it up from them in Ohio.

Edit to add: if you talk to the trailer guy he will tell you they'd rather you didn't. But as nice a guy as he is, he doesn't have any mechanical sense at all. He thinks a lift axle involves cutting and welding the frame. If you are really worried about it, buy the bolt on kit instead of the weld on then simply unbolt it if you plan on giving the trailer back.HalpinUout Thanks this. -
