    You don't need to do the recap ever!

    But your recap still has to follow the HOS rules for each day. Each day has to follow the 11, 14, 60/70. So unless your expecting to gain back time (running on recap) it is not an issue to check.

    You know, a log page that has 48 hours on it. When you use one you get to double up on the 11 and 14 but only need to take one 10 hour break.

    The logbook is actually 192 hours long. We just break it apart in 24 hour periods because it fits on little sheets better.

    Audited many a log; after you are finished, lay them side by side for a few days, makes it easier to see where you didn't take your break after 8 of the whole 10 off, etc...

    if your company was scanning them into a program, they will catch everything, if they care.
