I have never fired a Glock 19 but I did carry the 17 for a while. Great gun. Also carried the compact Glock .45 and the Glock 22 .40. Hands down my favorite was the 17. I wasn't even in the market for that XDs but I couldn't pass up the price, and I already have the XDM .45 acp and like it a lot so it was an easy decision, especially being compact and so concealable.

Yeah, no doubt~! I've not fired the 19 either, just like the smaller size than my 17 which is still bulky compared to yours. Thanks for the pic, man. Next gunshow is right before Thanksgiving; I'm gonna have to check that out! No need to waste my LC permit, haha! Gotta love the 9 mil's.

My FFL said palmetto state armory had them for $279 after rebate this summer. That's insane, those are High Point or Lorsen prices for a high quality every day carry gun. My wife has a 9mm ruger LCP, I figured I would buy this for me for those times I don't carry my Smith 642 air weight. That 642 was $327 online, my brother in law has the same gun and wasn't happy about how much he paid for his years ago.

Sounds like y'all got some nice stuff~! I sold my Smitty to my brother to finance my Glock, LoL. Wife has a Ruger 22 and a Browning 357..... and the 'interesting' stuff like the Teck9 and modifieds and rifles and such, LoL! Hunting season is around the corner~! ;)

I am close to completing my collection. I still want a nice 30 30 lever action, and a nice full size 1911, and the ruger .357 redhawk with the factory wood and rubber grips. My best purchase this year is my DPMS Tac2 that I bought from a drunk that worked at a pawn shop. Brand new gun with a lot of extras, worth $1300 and he was needing beer money, so $700 took it home.

Hunting season last year was terrible, it was still in the 90s in November. And whaddayaknow, Mississippi has the #1 deer population since they aren't getting harvested, over 2 million estimated. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't up the limit to 7 per season.

Not everybody can tolerate the grip angle on a Glock, especially the bigger ones.

Which of these have you shot before, fits your hand and you shoot well with?

    Go with that.

    Hey @MACK E-6,

That's what I love about the grip axis of the Springfield line. Every time you pick that gun up, it's dead level, never tilted down or up. At least in my hand.

I've bought like.... 5 or 7 Springfield pistols for that same reason in the past half year. XD-9 and a few XDS 9mm. You can't beat the ergonomics for a EDC pistol.

I open carry a FN 509 (9mm). Has identical ergonomics to the XD9.

Springfield is the way to go if you are new to firearms and need good value pistol that is easy to shoot but not a strain on the wallet.
