Not every one goes home knowing exactly when they will come back on duty. We come back on duty when a load that's worth coming on duty for is dispatched.

I go home for an approximate amount of time, usually with the intention of a week to 2 weeks. I may plan on a specific day, but I've definitely been convinced to leave a day earlier and I've been convinced to stay home longer (That's not hard to do). Trying to guess within 3 days of when I'll be back on the road wouldn't usually be too hard, but I still don't like it. I came to Mercer to, as someone else put it, not be micromanaged. I'm an adult, and if it's not a problem, why treat us like we are children? Is it going to be a hassle? Yes. Will I survive? Yes. Will I eventually get used to it? Probably. None of that means I have to like it. I can't just stay logged in. My truck is my pov when I'm at home.

Is it my understanding this only applies to the JJ Keller?

The only one that needs to get a grip is you! One guy asked a question, & a couple guys said is was BS, that's what forums like this are for, not a big deal! You don't even have JJ Keller, so why comment! The best part about you debating people over it is, you were going to quit over the same thing that some people are upset about! If you get put out of service, you lose your position, & you were on here, Facebook, pretty much every social media sight there is, threatening to quit over position!

I've been on the Hunt here the past couple days for a Big Bubba seems they are a hot item as the couple places I've called are out of them, until mid December.... Got a place in SD that has Reitouner Maxmiser in stock though which is $5k less and according to the guy I'm dealing with the only difference is the Maxmiser can haul 10k less than the Bubba... Resale value seems to be pretty good... Any thoughts on the Maxmiser versus the Big Bubba?

I went with the MaxMiser as I couldn’t justify the extra cost of the Big Bubba. Who you talking with in SD?

Mine was the Bubba, great trailer but it's over kill for most of "Mercer" freight. That arch is just to unforgiving with legal weight, un-concentrated loads. Most times I wished mine was a Maxmiser. In my opinion Mac is #1 Reitouner #2 East #3. they are all top shelf trailers. I would not buy any other brand all aluminum trailer, I would stick with a combo.

heads up: a lot of Reitouners are sold with nail strips along the outside edges only. Get yours with the extra nail strip down the center of the trailer.
