You don't have to remove that that plate , the air dryer bolts that black canister . That Huck bolted plate stays on truck. Kw or a Pete I guess?

I actually mentioned this a while back that this was happening, but I don't think anyone believed me, its a process they do to move freight and run loads back by you that you or your coordinator
    have already been over
    .
A lot of times these are folks being trained and its their baptism under fire. It serves that purpose to help train new ordinators and also sometimes to check on coordinators.

If the rate isn't great or isn't what you prefer , just say no or make a counter offer. No works well.

But I was told that in month of august 250 loads were moved and dispatched from this second round of calls.

Those salesmen need to find a new career.

It's the DOT number probably. It's been awhile since I got my prepass but I don't remember an "irp" number. I just used Mercer's DOT number.

So far every counter rate I've offered I never have heard back on... And what you said pretty much clarifies that his story is nothing but a sales pitch aka BS. I'm going to ask him next time if he came to Mercer from TQL... Sounds just like the BS that they spew over at that place. It is what it is... If I do ever get "lucky" and my counter rate is accepted or better yet if they call me with a good rate from the get go I'll be sure to put a update on this thread...;)

I know where you're sitting. I can't believe you can't find a good load. I just loaded down the street from you for 2.28 a mile going to NY. But that's probably too cheap for a flatbedder. Lol

Like I said , just say no and move on. If they don't accept a counter offer at that point or call immediately , just say no and move on .

What it confirms is they often train new coordinators calling about these loads .

Everything they call about isn't going to be great.

    I had a call about one today 2.75 a mile , treated lumber , 8 foot tarp , 900 miles Savannah to farming dale,long island,my.

I just said no I will pass but if ya get it to 3.75 I will cancel my eye appointment Monday to load.

It isn't sinister , it isn't bs . It's simply the freight business.

But in mind counter offering here is exactly like counteroffering to tql and others
