We're living in the era of fake news. Take advantage of the times, they won't last....

Swifts accident rate isn't any worse than the other training companies. But that doesn't mean its an acceptable rate either. swift, Werner, western express, the pumpkin, usa, prime, us express, basically all the big box carriers. they all have a ridiculously high amount of stupid.

But they also have a few very good drivers. Which to be honest i find even more funny. There are so many better paying driving jobs out there that i cant fathom why anyone would work more than a couple years at a mega box carrier.

Depends on the person. Some are happy where they are at. Life is not always about money.

I do it because money isn't my first concern. It never has been.
At Swift I can pretty much control how I do things, and I am treated well here.

Was in Daytona 20 plus years ago and saw a GMC Argosy fiberglass motorhome that
the guy parked on the expansive streach of the beach,
he went out bar hopping and came back around 3ish,
and it was bobbing in ocean, on its way out to sea. Rescued w/a boat.

I watched a similar thing happen in high school. We went out to the beach Saturday night and those who didn't move their cars woke up Sunday morning to see them bobbing in the water.

Hi Spyder7723 - I see you're from Sarasota, Florida. Real cool area.
I have lived in the Pocono Mts. of Pennsylvania for 64 years.
I moved to Daytona Beach around the year thong bikinis came out.
The scenery was unbelievably breathtaking. Nice beach, too.
In a year or so, I moved back to the Mountains.
I Still wonder - "why?" I had the world by the butt; literally.
    Maybe I do know why.
We, my roommate - the "your pix on a tee shirt for $20.00" Guy, and I rented a place right on the beach we called the Bug Shack. Both sides of our corner was condos
far as you could see. Landlord was holding to sell big. Anyway, we got thinking
we knew a lot of people and started having keggers with a different cup every week.
You pay your 10 bux and get a cup. Counted 200 people in there several nites.
Wake up with 75 half naked chicks all over the house, and yard, and garage.
    Good times.
All went wrong when a guy had a medical emergency outside and was blowing horn.
My brother went outside and this dude shot him in the head. Sorry, it was a 22 short
and it grazed the skull and went around; hospital ER cut his scalp/pulled it out.
    We left town; bad ju-ju.

    Adieu and not4hire Thank this.
