Denver Colorado Team Member Needed 1099 Out 9 to 11 Days Home 3 to 4

    Hello,
    I'm looking for a team member who will be willing to drive NIGHTS yes NIGHTS no exceptions.

    I own a 2016 Cascadia Evolution since new.

    You need:
    Current CDL A
    Current Medical Card
    Clean
    Willing to go the extra mile

    I usually am out 9 to 11 days. Home 3 to 4 days. Depending on experience I will pay 200.00 to 300.00 per shift worked. Time off will be Denver Colorado

    I have my own authority and run reefer.

    I'm honest and will always do the right thing.

    Oh I don't care. But during the day is when freight is on the board. Plus I think it's important to set an expectation so the team member can prepare and schedule for there expected drive times

    You really need to talk to an accountant about this. A good one that will go to war with you when the irs comes knocking. I just don't see how you can argue the independent contractor status a 1099 requires when it's a co driver situation.

    I have talked to my CPA and Lawyer. We are going to make the 1099 a part owner. Like 10 percent. I feel very comfortable with there advise. I'm also willing to make them an employee but the workers comp is 9 grand per 100k of payroll.

    I just wanted to make sure you had a plan. So many guys do the 1099 thing and almost none of them survive an audit.

    Did you find anyone yet? My son just stopped driving for May Trucking out of Denver...and loves driving at night!
