Here we go again trainer flipping out yelling at me I just talked to the head training coordinator about this and now I'm sitting in the break room waiting to hear something. This is so fed up. Dude is nuts. Screaming is not productive at all and I'm 3 days away from testing out. My blood is literally boiling right now I'm so close to saying f it and leave.

Yep, it is a lot easier to learn when no one is watching. If I take anther trainee, time and location permitting, I would like to leave them alone in an empty lot to practice by themselves.

You have a piss poor trainer. The only time a trainer should yell is to avoid a collision or some other emergency, generally speaking.

Just smile at the clown and tune him out.

If you can pass the test, and it sounds like you can, do not waste the time you have already committed.

Don't feel bad even veteran truckers don't always back in the first try. Or myself with 8 years. If your tires on trailer are pushed way up your tail sticks out a lot. Which is very crazy in a blindside TA or Petro idiot designed parking. And j and pilots are like sardine cans bulging at the seems every day when the sun sets.

I know I am not a typical person on this board and I barely have posted on here, but I am a teacher (driver ed after school, full time history) and I can not imagine yelling at my students unless it had to do with imminent danger. I dont know any teachers that would, have I yelled yes but only because the urgency of the situation dictated. One comes to mind merging onto an interstate at an incline heading east out of Peoria Illinois with a tractor trailer barreling down on us going 55-65 mph and the 15 year old student who could not find the gas peddle even after going over everything ahead of time multiple times. I may have added a few words to finally get him to floor it as he entered the interstate at 30-35mph.

This person is obviously not meant to be in this position of authority. He wont last long as it will stress him out too much. If he really is that stressed over a students mistake he needs to find a new career path. To teach anything to deal with new drivers you have to be calm and collective so that when needed your urgency carries more weight, also just to simply keep your sanity.

    JReding and scottied67 Thank this.
