Rand McNally ELD 50 questions

RM CS says they tried with no issues, but some users have reported they lost the data. Sorry,,, I am trying to find out where the data is kept on the device.

Log in as Admin and see what time zone the "Fleet Manager" is set to.

what is the best and cheap and simple ELD machine to install in a 1 unit company O/O run an average of 8k miles per month , run 10 months out of year. I must have installed by end of January.

That doesn't work for some reason.

 

Did you log in as Admin or user?

 

To set the Logs correctly,,, log in as Admin and make sure you set the Fleet Terminal to the time zone you wish you logs to be. This will tie the users home terminal to the correct time so the user will see the correct yard time...

I know I know....

 

Do you know if logs/data from device are backed up onto RM server somewhere. Like on Keep Truckin app it saved data on the server so it could be retrieved later.

 

It's all working now.

Everything is synced up and looks good.
