Didn't say he was upset. He just said he hopes it doesn't become a trend. I'm with some of you guys, I don't see how a broker would know. Hundreds of brokers sure, move on to the next I get it. If it is true getting denied loads ya it's inconvenient and all but hell that's trucking.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

Ok I've never worked as a broker can someone help me? Why would a broker refuse to give someone a load? Don't they get paid based on freight getting moved? Isn't that shooting themselves in the foot? What am I missing here?

Sounds like truck stop counter talk to me.

I deal almost exclusively with brokers and not once has that question ever been asked.

When asked if he has E-logs the proper response is yes I'm compliant if he really wants the load. Some will say it's a lie, however he is compliant. I'm thinking if they care about that it's cheap freight any way.

I know the brokers I run for are just the opposite they don't ask how you log only if you can deliver on time. If you don't have enough hours to be on time they keep looking

Really?! Let's see where a broker has gone to prison for a driver's wreck with HOS violation?

Heck let's make it easier. Show where a broker has ever been fined even. Much less jailed.

    rank and Sublime Thank this.
