My reefer got towed!

I would assume the tow truck drivers have some device that goes around the kingpin lock.

 

An experienced well equipped wrecker driver can do a lot of things

So yeah it's possible

10$ buck to drop your trlr and if you want to leave your truck & trlr there's no charge. They would just like you to fuel before you leave.

 

They can chain lift it from the frame of the trailer.

Can they tow a trailer with a gladhand lock on it?

 

I suggest watching highway to hell, the battle on the con highway, Jamie's big rotators dead lift trailers with contents inside when necessary. A little kingpin lock aint gonna save you from a tow.

 

sure. all you need is a wrench and a spare gladhand. 30 seconds.

Give me a flat head screw driver and that lock will be gone in 30 seconds.

 

Gladhand and kingpin locks will do nothing but annoy a wrecker driver they are meant to prevent the average thief from helping themselves to your equipment
