I know you prefer the longer wheelbase to the tail swing, but when curbs are buried and not visible sometimes that shorter wheelbase is nice.

Here’s my rant. During the snow storm Thursday I went to go winch out a tractor trailer on the thruway. Get there and it’s an ODFL with a set. He was empty so no wonder he needed help. Got him out and pulled up the hill.
Next day i decided to do some service calls with one of the mechanics so I can make extra money. We go to one at a rat stop for a fuel freeze up and it was the same guy from the day before. I actually felt bad for himroad_runner Thanks this. -

Does anyone remember a thread about weighing doubles at a CAT scale? I recall reading one, but I've searched off and on for a couple of weeks and can't find it. I don't remember if it was a stand alone topic or mixed in with another discussion, but I would like to refresh my knowledge.
I did a relay the other day with a new driver. Both of his trailers were over 20k, and he didn't weigh out. I planned to scale it when my break was up, but someone hit a power pole out on the frontage road and knocked the power out to the truck stop. Oops.
I ended up weighing the set at a terminal on my route home, but I'd like to know I can do it right at a CAT scale if I ever need to.
