Truckers were limited to 10 hours driving for 60 some years. They added the 11th hour in 2004 as the 'buffer' so drivers could max out their 10 and use the buffer to find legal parking. Over time drivers wanted to use the 11th hour as a productivity hour, *then* think about parking.

Depends on the job, but that isn't realistic for everyone. So back off the reason to being a buffer to make use of the full 10 we had before, except that that rings hollows as well. Especially for those splitting up their day by want or necessity. -

Roadside is 8 days, that's what the ELD is supposed to show.
That's all the one I'm using shows.
