Evolution units are louder. My friend has one and its annoyingly loud. I drove truck with one installed and it woke me up every time it started.

@Justrucking2 just thought I'd let you know that 20amp fuse is yellow not orange lol.
Also I'm at TK now just getting some work done, tech says if that fuse blows again replace it with a 25amp. That's TK's new solution, apparently they feel it's blowing from when the fan kicks in gives a slight power surge not a problem with the fans themselves.

Thank you sir! I just picked up my truck today... Three WEEKS! The install took forever, and then they gave me the truck back full of air in the coolant system... Hopefully it is fixed. Big snowstorm coming tonight and through the weekend here in Detroit... Going broke, LOL!

Yep... If it was not for bad luck, I would not have any. This truck is a nightmare... Fourth APU I have had these guys install, all the other trucks went smooth, this one. :-(

My truck wasn't down for 3 weeks for a new engine!!!!!

No way they would have my truck for 3 weeks! At 3 days I would be freaking the #### out!

I can't believe what people alow to happen to them?

I wanted it done right, fourth unit these guys have installed for me. Truck was a mess, old Tri-Pac was installed by a bunch of hacks. The actual install was gorgeous, engine work, exhaust work, truck exhaust work. They did an incredible job. On the engine side, they did even more work, looks great, and everything is painted in Cummins red. The air issue in the coolant, I did get three days work and back to ThermoKing... Hopefully fixed, can't get the truck to the house to do the work myself... And to darn cold out here to do this in the truck stop parking lot.

There was much more to it than slapping it on. Truck exhaust work, the plumbing, issues with the water lines and routing. Truck was a mess when I brought it in. Overall, very happy with what they did. $10,600 for the unit and install. I am surprised I was able to keep this thing together as long as I did... I have a long ugly history with my old Tri-Pac unit.

driverdriver, Tug Toy and HalpinUout Thank this.
