Tuesday I installed the condenser on the back wall and hvac unit under the bed. its an old carrier comfort pro. I spent 3-4 hours to do it. Another 3-4 hours and I will have installed the engine box on frame with coolant lines connected to the DD15

Seems these unit should be a lot quieter for 12k.. Onan seems to have figured out how to make a quiet generator for rv’s.. seems everything in the trucking world is 10years behind the rest of the world..

This new Evolution is not that bad now that everything is straightened out. About the same DB inside the sleeper. The note is a bit higher though, but not as bad as I have been told. If it were behind some skirting, I doubt you would hear the thing. Mine is hanging out back by the exhaust off the frame rail in front of the lift axle.

I miss the old control panel too... But I am slowly getting used to it, but still not as good. And remember to go around the plumbing and tighten everything back up in a day or two. The hose clamps tend to loosen and need to be snugged back up until they fully seat.

Question, The manual states that the thermostat for heat only is not in the control unit on the sleeper wall. with my temp knob turned all the way to the left (down) the cabin temp is supposed to be around 50 degrees i believe. my cabin goes well up to high 70's at the west setting. so the thermostat must be someplace where its cold. any ideas?

    thanks
