I can’t pass you, so you’ll make room

This happens all to often.
If you are both governed at the same speed, you shouldn't be trying to pass.
If a cop comes up, you are impeding the left lane, you are the one who will get the ticket.
You have 30 seconds or less to pass another vehicle.
The smarter thing to do is slow down.
The person in the right lane is not at fault you are.

 

Run it up against the wall and wonders why there's friction/conflict/issues.
Your doing it wrong. Step back look around take a deep breathe. Drive smarter not harder. It works in everything you do.

 

Western express flatbed driver last night in Coachella CA...
Truck stop is jammed packed,people parked stupid,one lane in for fuel..I wait patiently.
Flatbed driver either parked stupid or cutting around construction area cuts in front of me blocking the third pump. He can't possibly make the sharp turn into the fuel island.
The second pump opens up..the pump he should have taken..but he's now blocking second pump,third pump and I'm blocking the scale exit also.
Fat arse is filling his fat face with a subway sandwich...

Passing can be much easier IF you get your Lazy Butt off the Cruise......
If Your passing me and Can't, I'll slow down a bit to let you over,cause that's just me,A Patient,Courteous Drivers Always Watching other Drivers Road Habits.

I Wont leave you out there in the Left Lane to Stress, You Can Come over- But Get Off The Cruise, I See it all too much, I Know Your on the Cruise because of how your truck is Flowing.

Now,That Being Said- I Don't Like some of you Guys that Purposely Let another Truck Hang out in the Left ON PURPOSE- Because your Mad at the World,Wife left ya,Not Making Money, Or Your badder than others Because You Have A Drop Visor 359 With a Shifter Knob Touching the Button Tuck Ceiling With a Cowboy Hat on.

Theres Lots of Traffic These Days-Everywhere- Please Folks,Operate with Patience and Be Courteous to each other.

 

Remember we are king of the road....me personally I will back off and let anyone over anytime because I love MY truck and I don't want it touched! But screw the cars behind you in your situation! You back off as long as it takes for you to TAKE control and get back over. LOL. You really have to be ruthless out there IMO and remember CARS are the secondary vehicles on the roadways. CMV>DL.

 

How much time do you lose in a shift,slowing down 1 mph for 10 seconds?

 

It's a race out there, can't back down. The clock is counting down, get the f... out of the way

 

I cannot believe, after all these years of trucks traveling the highways of America, that it comes to this.. Are we really having this argument????? Seriously, if both are in 65mph trucks, why bother passing? There should be only one pass made. That's to let the truck that's faster on the hills go in front. Ya both ain't going more than 65 on the flat, and probably not much more downhill. So why fight it???
