There are a lot of really weak trucks out here. Some slow 5 mph just crossing over a typical bridge overpass.

Also some are distracted and slow for some mysterious reason, every few minutes. I see no reason for one to have to subject themselves to this crap for who knows how long. And the alternative is following too close waiting for the next "slow down" and that's something we don't need either.

I will go out on a limb and suggest most who are being passed slowly, brought it on themselves. Furthermore, the guys with the 64 mph limit and 66 mph limit are working for idiots. Set them at a uniform 65 mph

Obviously the other guy is faster, lighter etc. He caught your arse.

Just curious what did you blame before ELD's? This is not a new phenomenon.

If he is faster and lighter why does he need to let him?

Told drivers in meetings wanting a "passing gear" to get around other 65 mph trucks. Nope but you can back off 2 mph and not have to deal with them.

If you are driving a 64 mph truck you shouldn’t be trying to pass another truck doing 64 mph. This is all on you. You should slow down and merge in behind.

I'm sorry man but that just makes no sense. PasSmart was the best offering to restricted speed carriers in a long time and you dismiss it then you tell them proceed to proceed down to the lowest common denominator? SMH
