I worked for stevens transport 3 years ago when i got my cdl half of the apus dont work. Also worked for cfi for a bout 6 months and my truck was in the shop more then it was on the road. Ive had bad experiences with both of those companies hopefully yours will be better. Currently im looking into hill brothers they seem to be good based on everything ove read about them. As far as reimbursement for school i would recommend just paying ot out of your ppcket with a decent truck company that will keep you on the road and pay you a decent wage. Even as a new driver you should be looking for at least .35 cpm or better
Looking at CFI and Stevens for first company.

hey man once u get into a company there is goin to issues with truck etc u just got to get ur exp first for the first yr then move on if u want better and more money. If u work ur butt off at one company and then see a new company that's has everything u want then leave when the contract is up to the new company. CFI aint special just a starter company that is goin to teach u everything and get u exp so use that as ur training company till u find a company that works for u. U can also buy cooler off amazon or at a truck stop for ur truck as u go so u don't have to eat out and spend a lot of money.

I’ll never agree with that. The little things make the bigger things easier.
I won’t sweat or freeze in anyone’s truck for any reason.free spirited1 Thanks this. -
You might want to consider Miles when you're looking at all these companies with all these wonderful Tricks and Treats...
The guy that got 2700 miles during training that's because they wanted to get him on the road and productive as soon as possible and they wanted to get his trainer on to another student as soon as possible... So training miles to go fast in any company.Vic Firth, Need4Speed and Ultratowel Thank this. -
