I lost my only son at the age of 17 to a Oxicotin overdose Christmas morning 8 years ago.
He had 5 very close friends that he ran around with, all smart talented kids, that at his funeral swore they would never do drugs again..

Attended the last of the five that was lefts funeral 2 years ago.

At every funeral of their fallen friends they all proclaimed how they would never do drugs again.
That Oxicotin is so addictive and so readily available here in S.W. Florida.

Just saw on a program the other day where a guy who sued the tobacco industry and brought them to their knees is now going after the drug manufacture of opioids .

What the FDA did withe legalization of opioids was criminal is what this attorney said, it was like he took the words right out my mouth.

At least with nicotine addiction we now have much safer alternatives to cigarettes for those who can't quit or dont wish to quit. Vaping can be a godsend

I vape all day long in the truck. I don't stink, the truck doesn't stink and I'm not destroying myself

    #### 22 full years? That's crazy man. I smoked probably 4 years before I quit. Quitting wasn't a cake walk, but once the first week was over it got easier every week. Now I hate the smell, and can only smoke when I'm drinking.

Vaping cured me of smoking quite a while ago. Cigarettes taste aweful, take your breath away and are just overall unappealing once you stop for a while. My wife smoked from the time she was 15 until she was 29. She no longer smokes but now has a lifetime to deal with having COPD. She Vapes as do I, the Dr. Told her vaping has no effect on her lungs.

Quitting cigarettes is easy. I quit 20 times a day.

I tried vaping. The taste was "off". The recent reports that vaping has you inhaling lead and other metals is concerning. Then again I should just quit the habit.

Allot of false propaganda involving vaping. You cannot believe half of what is said. Lots of money involved in selling cigarettes and treatments from cigarette related illness. Lead? I call bs on that. I make my own coils and juice. No lead used. Kanthal wire and cotton makes up the coils. The juice is made out of pg, vg, nicotine extact and flavoring. Kanthal wire is the same stuff used in a toaster.

I'm not saying vaping is 100% risk free nothing is, but it IS 90-95% safer then smoking. Anything that might be found bad in vaping is also found in a cigarette but in amounts greater in multiples by hundreds or even thousands of times. Amounts of exposure so minute it very likely won't cause the user any ill effects.

I successfully quit nicotine once, eight years ago, after smoking 22 years. I'm not going back.
