And I understand drafting & your point as well. But, he wasn't drafting when he caught me from a mile back... or 2 miles back or 10 miles back. Overall, he is faster than me. Once in front of me, he will still be... over all... faster than me & will eventually be a mile ahead of me... then 2 miles ahead, then 10 miles ahead. etc.
I can’t pass you, so you’ll make room

In the case of my Princess Passing video above, the driver trying to pass did not catch up to me because he was faster, he only caught up because the road grade was downhill and he was using gravity to get up to 72 in a 70 which is the cruise speed I was set at. Going uphill I would fade to 68 and he would fade to 65, so when we add all those numbers up and divide them, the other driver is overall slower than I am, hence why I did not yield my already speed limit set cruising speed to a slower truck who would just get in front of me and set he pace overall slower than when he was behind me.

You don't have the speed to pass, thereby slowing traffic in the left lane, other driver should now brake and slow traffic in the right lane so you can get by? Who is really the one with the ""I'm more important than you" , more important then everyone on the roadway privileged attitude?
Slower traffic keep right. Driving in the right lane (exactly where you should be if you are maintaining a lower speed) is NOT like blocking a fuel pump (exactly where you should not be). You should not be in fuel lane unless you are fueling, you should not be in the passing lane unless you are passing, unless YOU can maintain a higher speed and complete a pass.
I can't drive my truck and your truck at the same time. Don't force me to become part of your poor decision making. Cause me to take actions with my truck based on what you did or in this case, failed to do. It is called a "pass" not a "force someone to slow down and bail you out because you made a bone head judgement in speed and distance". Take responsibility for your actions, complete YOUR pass that YOU decided to initiate or back off and clear the "passing" lane that you could not figure out how to use properly.Last edited: Feb 28, 2018
