Sure. Then you give up, slow back down and fall in behind the jerk again only to have drop back down to 5 mph under the speed limit.
And people wonder where road rage comes from...![]()

The Big issues if there is a lot of traffic, don't worry about what SPEED you are running as much as worry about what SPACE you are running!!! Always try and run in a space, not in a pack, some days try as I might you just can't seem to get away from a certain pack of traffic, whether it be the terrain or the way people drive, that is when I take bathroom room break and let them go on.

Don't let cretins manipulate your actions. Avoid them with your professional attitude and intelligence. It will seem like a personal attack but in reality they are like that to everyone. Except for their mom, she'd slap the crap out of them. Let them make the wrong decisions and it will lead to their demise.

If a driver is trying to pass me, which I would say rarely ever happens. I will slow down if necessary to allow the driver to get past me. Normally in my case this happens when:
A. I'm merging onto the interstate, and when building speed the slower trucks will move over to the left to give me space to complete my merge.
B. When another driver decides he wants to run faster than the law allows.
I will be courteous and allow the driver the space to get in front of me.
The goal for us, (In my opinion) is to prevent a bottleneck and maintain safe, normal highway speeds.
Additionally, as I mentioned in my previous post/rant about drivers camped out in the hammer lane. If I am in the hammer lane, cruising the speed limit, (which is normally where I hang out). If another driver comes up behind me at a faster rate of speed, I will be a courteous driver and move to the right to let the driver continue at his speed. I don't appreciate drivers hogging/camped out in the hammer lane. I will not do it either.
I try to do my part to maintain a safe and courteous driving atmosphere for all around me.
