CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

At the 80/90/94 split in Indiana. There’s a pilot, flying j and ta here.

 

I was looking at interstate weather and it will be nice along 90 until I get to Washington then crap weather the rest of the way.

 

I got detained by fog for 2 hours... lost my load heading south.

Here I sit in Wilmer...

 

Off topic question, but I reckon you guys are the perfect folks to ask:

Are you seeing many Celadon trucks over the road these days? I keep wanting to buy some stock (CGI), but I hardly ever see them on i5 anymore...

 

Not much .... At least in the south DY

 

I'm going to a truck driving school right now near Springfield MO on I-44 exit 61. And we're out on the yard all day I see about 5-10 pass by a day. Of course their may be more..I know we thought about going to school with Celadon last year but we heard they shut down their school and was going through 3rd party schools.

 

I know they had some problems. I dont see them nearly as much as I see their affiliate companies.

 

Out west in Redding I see HTL trucks out of Portland pulling Celadon trailers with an HTL logo also on the trailer.

 

Seeing more owner ops pulling their trailers...not the lease op Prostars, true owner s. The trucks look pretty worn out so they must not be paying well.

 

So Dubs... you thinking of shorting it or going long? I haven't been following them so I don't know how they are trending.
