Does he have a special situation with the dealer or do the dealers usually allow this for truckers?

 

I think he gets to do it because he bought the truck from him. I used to park at the peterbilt dealership in Waco but I knew the service manager. If they have room your local dealership might let you park there. They may also ask for money. Also talk to Home Depot and Lowe’s. My brother in law parks his truck at Lowe’s in the back.

 

Travel agent has me booked thru Thursday... heading from Maryland to Laredo... they love me in Laredo... they made me a saint, named astreet after me (San Bernardo), and then put a Golden corral on it!!! Most respected driver here...yup

Yeah I’ll have to find somewhere. There’s a few Lowe’s and all near where I live. I imagine that if our truck gets towed or damaged during off time. That since we get to take the truck home then any fees to repair or pay for the tow is on our hands yeah?

I just left laredo an hour ago.

 

According to CFI last week, as long as your parked where you told them you are going to park the truck and you did everything within your power to keep it from happening (making sure doors are locked, keys aren't in the ignition, etc.) Then you should be ok. But it's a case by case basis.
