Hello everyone I have one very simple question! Is the hair follicles drug test done for all positions (office, maintenance, any NON-driving positions) or just for the truck driver positions?

Hello everyone! I have one simple question. Does Jb administer the hair follicles drug screen on ALL positions (so including any NON-driving positions) or only on the truck driving positions? Thanks a lot for any info anyone can give.

The J.B. Hunt Terminal around here is hungry to catch anyone for anything, anytime.

One should avoid putting themselves in circumstances where this has to be an issue.bzinger, passingthru69, BigBluePeter and 2 others Thank this.

If you're that worried about any drug test, I'd quit whatever recreational drugs that you maybe smoking, snorting, shooting up, inhaling, drinking or swallowing RIGHT NOW, and wait a year. Flunk any drug test the least bit in this industry and it'll stay on your record.

You can do one of two things...you can dope or you can drive. Choose.

I spent a month post 9-11 with JBH The Orientation as laid out by the OP is accurate. I was with the Protho Junction Facility which is not far from North Little Rock.
I knew I will never ever hire onto JB, but recruiter promised me pay pretty close to .49 a mile and conventional equipement if I am ready to go down there the following monday. Took about three hundred miles with the previous company I was with only two weeks (MC Carriers in Mabvelvale and I will explain why...) to hammer out the JBH hire and pay terms etc.
MC Carriers haul Cream in tanker. Tanker work is a favorite past time of mine in trucking because like flatbed work it's pretty engaging mentally and professionally. I was totally motivated to run MC tankers with 70,000 dollars worth of high dollar Cream loads around Arkansas and looking forward to it. But what they did was stick me in a sloppy van trailer and bounced me around two weeks. Enough. I wanted tanker work period. Let's go. But nope. bounce around in van work so... stuck with the turkey. So I changed to hire on with JBH in two weeks flat. No notice. Maybe next time MC wants to hire me (They wont...) as a tanker by gawd they will stick me in a tanker darn it. Everything else is bull.
JB was not a bad experience I had a good dispatcher who actually listened to what I have to say on my end from time to time and accomodated me. And in return I will travel across hell for him. If all dispatchers were as good as him none of my time out there on the road would have had the challenges Ive had.horsecrazychic22 Thanks this. -
How far back does the hair test go back and what do they test for from the hair.

Bro just wait a year if you got to worry about all that. Either you're going to do dope, or you're going to drive trucks. Ain't no in between.Sirscrapntruckalot, drvrtech77, ZVar and 1 other person Thank this.
