So I'm watching vids on YouTube of trucks backing up into loading docks etc, especially ones that are extremely tight and small. How often does this happen to you?

I stopped driving in 2012. Honestly what I would call a tight place changed over the time I drove. Maybe twice a week. 3 times tops.

Today it happened three times and I had four stops. Monday, it will happen twice out of five stops. What people never realize is a lot of businesses were built in the 1950s-1970s when trailers were barely 45 feet. That extra 8 feet on a 53 makes for a much more difficult back due to constrained spaces.

And don't forget that parking at probably 4 out of 5 truck stops is a little "tight". And it gets worse the later you need to park. Of course, it gets much easier if you get your arse out of the truck and look.
