hogwash.
$100 an hour x the amount of hours worked per week, owner choice, is profitable to the truck.
70 hour week, is $7000 a week gross.
50 hour week, is $5000 a week gross.
Still doing better than the average OTR driver in a time worked versus gross intake
Who are you to decide a driver needs to work the same hours every week.
