Talked to JCT's insurance agent today. He got a copy of the police report today. And, it's official. Not at fault. She was found at fault for failure to yield and failure to properly make a safe lane change. Between that and my dash cam video, the insurance has everything he needs to deny any claims that may come across.

Got the results of my oil sample back today. Universal averages on the right are for comparable DD15s with 29,000 miles on the oil, per the comments.

I bought the pump to pump oil out through the dipstick to do mid-cycle samples and am going to sample again at 25K just to see if the numbers hold.

    MachoCyclone Thanks this.

Well today tested all the driving patience I could muster. Two stopper, first in Bronx NY and second in Brooklyn NY. I've never been so happy to get back to New Jersey. lol:D

Someone asked me today what are the details on how a JCT driver pays they're codriver. Meaning what's all involved I guess. He said the recruiter didn't really know but they'd explain it in orientation. lol
I had no idea but thought one of the teams here might be able to explain more..

    LucasBelser Thanks this.

They get paid 1.05 a mile and they can choose how to split it. That's how I understood it.

I thought they only Lease and pay one owner. Then that owner is responsible for paying the codriver.
But I haven't thought about this since 2015 and doesn't surprise me that I'm wrong. lol

    LucasBelser Thanks this.

That is true. The two come to an agreement on pay and the way I understand it is that JCT will deduct that amount from the driver buying the truck and deposit it into the co drivers account.

    LucasBelser and CannonballAA Thank this.
