lll go out on a limb and say he knows your boss
And how the company operates 100 times better
Than you.
How do you know he hasn't bobtailed up there before
And picked up a trailer.
He might have done it multiple times. You have know idea.
You don't even know if it was a actual conversation.
It could have been a simple text message sent or
Read the wrong way.
If your boss can't can't keep drivers
And is always complaining that nobody wants to work
Anymore.
That means he can't find enough drivers willing to
work long hours For little pay.
That what he's really saying.swervyjoe, buddyd157, Dumdriver and 1 other person Thank this. -
Same thing goes for routing.
Crete/Shaffer uses Rand McNally for routing, for example.
I always check my routes to make sure they are sane.
Rand McNally apparently has old or bad data on at least three major roads. US-287 between Fort Worth and Denver, US-93 between Las Vegas and Phoenix, and the interstate intersection of I-22 and I-65 by Birmingham.
All three of those routes give me serious issues when I try to plan them on my personal Rand McNally TD730, with the most recent maps.
All three of those roads are very important truck routes, but Rand has bad data on them, so my company does too.
They just tried to route me west from Phoenix, AZ into southern CA, and then all the way up US-99 and I-5 to Fife, Washington.
I took one look at that route and ignored it. Driving up 93 through Nevada and Idaho, then take I-84 to Washington.
Yes, I am under 51,500 going on US-93 in Idaho. No permit required. -
On that truck there were no load gauges, it was a standard dash with just a turbo and EGT gauges.Mike2633 Thanks this.
