It’s possible. I could imagine a fire marshal somewhere having a big problem with the way some people park at truck stops.

Lol. If that nice lettering job is any indication they will just rip that fender off and keep on trucking.

Sounds like if a fella needs a spot he should just choose the best illegal one and smash the hood off the truck then slide in there when it gets towed*

IluvCATS and MACK E-6 Thank this.

Most of the no parking in parking lots isn't because they don't want more customers to be able to park, it is usually because the Fire Department wants enough room to turn a ladder truck around most don't even own yet.

If this was the case, the fire Marshall could make a killing every night. We must be talking about two different types of illegal parkers. I am talking about guys that don’t park within designated lines on the asphalt. Are you and Mack talking about parking in a posted fire route?

    IluvCATS Thanks this.

Both, most of the time the Police have to write the citations, most agencies don't have the manpower to do much of anything but provide barebone services, let alone worry about parking. I notice in the rural areas where there is plenty of parking, you see them driving through and checking, but when was the lasttime you saw any LEO's in a truck stop in densely populated areas where there is little parking? Only when there is a problem and someone calls.

Trip planing and getting up early doesn't stop lumpers from putting you 5hrs late because they count slow and don't have enough fingers...
