That's my pay for 2 loads at unimark. Solo, with no trainee following me. Not bad for paycheck friday. Trips are paid every week. Unless, you forget to turn them in on time.

    That's recent enough.

Allrighty people, go to work for ANY truck haul company and I challenge you to show a pay recap even remotely close to this. While possible, its EXTREMELY rare. Keep in mind this reads like the recap of a 1099 employee (contractor) if lucky. The average truck hauler (even contractors) makes FAR less than this. I work for the same corporation that also owns UNIMARK. Go to page 11 of 'Good Trucking Companies' and read up on Auto Truck Transport - considered the best truck haul company to work for to get an idea on how far truck hauling (and trucking) has regressed. Post like the above display a degree of desperation for 'warm bodies'. I hope to retire in the next two years...

We are not desperate for "warm bodies" many truckers get turned down because they are not qualified to work for Unimark. You must have the doubles triples endorsement to work for us. Auto Truck is a sister company. Drivers at auto truck get paid less, but have perks retirement pension, health care, undecking pay. If you have a family work for auto truck. They will take care of your family with thier health care plan. If you are single i suggest Unimark. We are both drive away companies. When i get older i may switch to Auto truck for thier retirement plan. Unimark has industry leading pay. Auto truck has industry leading benefits. Its for each man to decide which is best for his needs. We have 112 drivers only looking for 18 new drivers this year. Auto truck has 600 plus drivers and im not sure how many drivers they are hiring. They do have hiring freezes. If you think that is a rare pay check ill post another.

The first 'hiring freeze' that I recall was in 2013 - people were quitting faster than they could be hired, and rightly so. Before my time, I would have to know someone to get into this field - near zero turnover. ATT led the 'revolution' for 'diversity and inclusion' and carried it to a new level. Yes, one will see some interesting stuff and wonder how the place operates at a profit (or operates at all). Unimark? The long running butt of truck haul jokes - very bottom of the woodpile.

Go to a job site where multiple truck haul companies are undecking at the same time and the Unimark - Truck Movers drivers are typically the easiest to spot. Disorganized, incorrect or no tools, frustrated and often walk away, leaving the customer asking one of us to finish the job.

Shills are a unique breed, ATT is packed with them. Unimark apparently has their share too.

Pay dated 3/23. So that's through the first quarter of 2018. Year to date shows 14,003. Nothing special.
Mine at that same point was 19,828 and home every night. Not trying to pick but I just don't think truck moving pays like it used to.

Plus, being home every night has value, at least it does for me. I’ll make $55-$60k this year (nothing to write home about) but I’m home every night and every weekend, and we don’t work holidays (they’re paid, however).

$45k to $50k is normal for company drivers while those who rarely or never go home while taking advantage of the numerous 'bonus' gigs can probably get into the upper 50s. Good union benefits and retirement and I'm already retired from the military. Be forewarned about the 'prevailing culture' as alluded to in many posts - its true. Retire in 5 years if I don't succumb to an 'on the job injury' - very prevalent in this sector.

So do you pay for hotels and traveling or no? It shows as if you had to pay for those things. They told me they pay for everything. I got an offer and I'm thinking about taking it. What's your average weekly pay?
