For the LTL and dedicated sides of the company they do require a year of experience. OTR they will take new drivers.
That being said I run line haul out of the Duluth terminal down to Coon Rapids twice a night. There is plenty of work that's for sure. Its not the best paying ltl outfit, but the money is decent, the equipment is good, and your largely left alone to do your job. Starting off your start time will probably be around 10 pm. Where you go would depend on the night but unless your a maverick driver with a sleeper truck you will get home every day. Some of the guys do a few swap runs or deliver local full loads before or after their line haul run to make extra money.

Anyone been to maines in hanover park? This has to be one of the tightest spots Ive seen so far. I havent seen anyone back into a spot without going up on the curb and you can tell by the rocks they threw out passed the curb is a sign lots of people do it.

Yeah, they need to tell drivers to detach their trucks after docking there.
Winnyf1 Thanks this. -

Yeah I didnt. So far maines takes the prize in mu book for tightest spot. La Grou was said to be hard and has nothing on maines. Maines needs to seriously extend the lot.
Lowlite Thanks this. -
