That is not how it works. You have an initial phone interview, then if you pass they will bring you in for a dc interview. One of the first things is to meet with HR manager. You can ask any question (pay, PTO policy, truck assignments, health insurance, other benefits) at that time and if you do not like the offer you can refuse with an hour and a little invested.

Thank you. I had my phone interview this morning. They told me average first year pay was 79-82 a year. Just waiting on the call for the pre trip/ road test.
I appreciate all of the info.

    Good luck.

Check your permit book, and do an air test(most common fails in the pretrip test besides hitting stuff)

    And just food for thought.

I could have had my own 5 day truck as a Thursday or Friday out but I took a Tuesday 8 am extra board so I could have Sundays off. Most of the trucks are pretty clean, and there are steps to have them corrected if they are left dirty. So the moral is even though 4 years would have had my own truck I found a schedule I liked better ;)

Coover and Nole Man Thank this.

Update. I nailed the pre trip and road test and finally got a call back with a start date. Hopefully everything goes well.
