    Their restaurant looks pretty "unique" with lots of memorabilia and decorations on the walls...

    Like, when did the fleet trucks discover 212? Used to be nice drive, especially in the winter as most everyone on it knew what they were doing. There must have more than triple the number of trucks compared to what used it only a few years back!

    I know that, it was more of a rhetorical.

    What triggered the increase was most likely the improvements to the hill at Lame Deer. The east side was narrow and could bite the unwary. The tech you mentioned existed long before the traffic volume jumped, it was the highway improvement that triggered the sad change.
