I was informed today that starting tomorrow I will be using an ELD.
Haven't decided what my next move is..
I may just go home and hang it up for good....The mega fleets, new breed, and clueless foreigners can have it..wore out, MACK E-6, chopper103in and 2 others Thank this. -

Hate to hear that Mike. You're not the only one though. A friend of ours had his company sold on him and the revenue is like night and day with the new dispatch team messing him around constantly. He's flat out told them several times already and is looking to leave asap. Shame he can't just go fishing.

I can relate to a lot of you folks' frustrations.... Psss me off seeing so many so called "professional" truck drivers driving like idiots...
And the lack of parking... there's definitely much more lack of parking nowadays... thanks to ELD and freakin HOS... and truck stops charging for parking...
The other day when I left that scale station in London, KY, the place was full beyond capacity.... never seen it like that... And the shoulders and ramps have been totally overflowing with trucks at night almost everywhere...Last edited: May 17, 2018

On a good note, I survived rush hr traffic going right thru the core of Nashville at 8 am today with no scratches... but that was "brutal"...
And also survived going thru Atlanta again this afternoon...
Decided to arrive at receiver a little before 4 pm Atlanta time so to avoid a much worse traffic...
And now safely parked at receiver's dock... they will unload me in the morning...
After empty, will go to next shipper, in Atlanta... and then head to VT.... maybe I can find a spot at the scale station in VA tomorrow night... shall see...
BTW.... I am ready for a loong trip to the west.... tired of going thru big cities traffic jams every freakin day...7-UP, Getsinyourblood, wore out and 3 others Thank this. -
