They laughed at my phone

I liked my Blackberry...it did some stuff 6 or 8 years ago that todays "mini computer in a phone" still don't do...and they were more secure than any iPhake...

 

I was at a shipper about 7 years ago.
I still had the Nokia flip phone at the time.
There was about 20 people in the shipping office
Having a meeting when I checked In.

There was a problem with the pick up number
so I whipped out my phone right there and everybody
In the office started laughing at me.
They said my phone was a dinosaur.

They took pictures of my phone and emailed
it to all their friends so they could all have a
good laugh.
You would have thought I had a old rotary
phone the way they were acting. Lol.

Had that phone for years.
Finally at@t called me and said I had to get rid
Of it because the new technology would no longer
support it.

 

I was at a restaurant once and had to ask the waitress to translate text-to-english for me...

 

I have a Blackberry...physical keyboard and all...and my "phone" app? Yes, it's rotary dial.

Just 'cuz you get a new phone doesn't mean you have to give up your old ways!

 

Don't pull out your little toy if you don't want to be laughed at.

 

What does he care. It's not like he can see anybody who's ever criticized him.
