Where Are You Continues, Again.....

London T/A. Had good day no doubt bout it

 

Unloaded Brunswick.... reloaded outta Brunswick...back in Florence for a 10. Dodged all the rain right up until my last 2 cars. And of course the only open spot to load was where the lot drains!! Lol loading in 6" of water!! But got 'er did!!

 

What a sucky day today... I drove a WOOPY unbelievable 13 miles today...
Sat all day at a dock.... 7 freakin hrs! Sweating and sweating cause didn't want to turn the A/C on and consume fuel.... I have an APU but even that consumes fuel and I have already used A/C all this past weekend during my 34...
Anyway... call me crazy.. I can be a little weird that way...
But got all sticky and burning hot in the cab facing the sun all day...
The load was coming from Mexico... but after 5 hrs at the dock, was told that the load didn't make it... thru the border maybe.... I don't know... And they gave me another load... about the same product, going to the same customer... DUH... Why didn't they do that much earlier...?

Anyway... after all that, I was tired of doing nothing in a burning hot cab all day... was smelly, sticky... Stopped at Pilot at 18:30, got the weigh and decided to take my break right here. and take a nice shower.. cause I got a great place and no point in driving a couple more hrs and then not find a good place to park...


Called broker and dispatcher this load will be delivered on Thursday instead of Wednesday... gotta go thru A LOT OF HEAVY TRAFFIC AND CONSTRUCTION in most I-35 TX...
Gotta go now... leaving at 4:30 am...

Fired the truck up today in Rawze's front yard. In frame is complete, she sounded really good. 0330 here, been in the sauce, celebrating! Arrived here on April 4th, many delays, weather, parts, etc. She is running like a Swiss Watch. You all say a prayer for me and the truck. I did the in frame with a some help when two folks were required, never done anything this big.
